Egg Hunt 18th April 2022
After a hiatus of two years the Residents' Association was able to resume its annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. The sun shone, the children smiled, the adults relaxed. At long last, we had glorious weather and so it was surprising that we did not get as many children as our last egg hunt back in 2019. However that did mean there were more eggs for those children who did turn up.
The adults enjoyed coffee, tea and hot cross buns and a chat

The 600 foil-covered eggs scattered over the school playing field glittered like treasure in the sunshine, which made the task of looking for the eggs easier than in some years. This did not diminish the fun the children had though. So whilst the adults enjoyed coffee, tea and hot cross buns and a chat, the children raced about in their pursuit of chocolates- helping each other and sharing their bounty.
The hunt is on!

The morning made for great fun, much excitement and, hopefully, some somewhat exhausted children. It was a lovely village get together of friends old and new, friends young and old-er! It was our community at its best.

Sharing their bounty
Thanks to Laura Lord, RA committee member and our very own Easter Bunny.
