Irish Night - 17th March 2017
St Patrick's Day
Around 70 villagers attended the Irish themed night to watch a demonstration of Irish dancing whilst imbibing in a drop of the black stuff. Some arrived in fancy dress and some did not, but most entered into the spirit of the evening by wearing something green.
The Riverdance Trio from Leicester did two excellent performances and were then joined for a dance demo by a couple of members of the Residents' Association Committee who had organised the night.

Laura Lord and the catering team produced a magnificent beef and Guinness pie followed by a dessert of chocolate pudding topped with Baileys flavoured cream, (to look like Guinness).
This definitely went down well with some of the audience.

At the end it was left to the Chairman of the Residents’ Association (Dave Smith who really demonstrated participation) to thank all those on the committee who had worked so hard to make the evening a great success.
