Litter Pick - 19th March 2016
Eight residents turned out for the annual litter pick last month, supported by a Community Warden and his daughter. Those who cleaned along Worley's Lane, Kenton's Lane and Upper Culham Road were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of litter, which was too much to carry. Elsewhere, volunteers were also hampered by a large amount of fly-tipping and paint spraying in High field Road, which had to be left as evidence for the police.
Thanks to those who helped out and even washed the post boxes as well as to those who pick up litter throughout the year. If you'd like to join this merry band, give Tess Dixon a call on 940 2269 and come round to collect your pickers. There's clearly plenty more work to be done - especially in Kenton's Lane!
