There were over 20 villagers, young and old, who came along to give our two hamlets a spring clean. All roads from Kenton’s Lane along to Rose lane and up to the top of Bowsey Hill and also down through the village to Hennerton were covered. The biggest item found was a bicycle wheel in a ditch. The good news is there was a lot less rubbish than in previous years. As a finishing touch the road signs were also washed to give the hamlets a bright clean look.
